Repair works on berth 141 start

We use and operate berths 142 and 141 which are belonging to the port of Klaipeda. This week, the construction contractors of the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority started the overhaul of berth 141.
Increasing terminal capacity

We have completed a warehouse redevelopment project, which has seen the reconstruction of around 40 000 m2 of MĮT yard space, of which 15 000 m2 has been converted to accommodate a wider range of cargo.
MIT acquired the largest electric hydraulic crane in the Baltics

The investment will increase the terminal’s handling capacity to 2.5 million tons of various cargo per year, and grain handling capacity will double.
Half-year results

In the first half of this year, we handled 450 thousand tons of various cargoes, it is for 15 percent less than in the same period last year.
Stevedoring results in 2020

Last year were marked as the best in the history of MIT.
The reconstruction of the quay No. 143 is completed

The reconstruction works of the quay operated by the MIT were completed in October.
MĮT modernized the lighting of the territory

The upgrade of the lighting system for the entire terminal area was completed successfully by replacing the old metal halide and sodium lamps with energy-saving LED lamps.
We have celebrated 20th anniversary

February 9th is a special day to MIT, it is a very solid and mature time when we already have something to show and be proud about.
Handling results of 2019

New records were reached, ~ 1.15 million tons of cargo were handled.
