The upgrade of the lighting system for the entire terminal area was completed successfully by replacing the old metal halide and sodium lamps with energy-saving LED lamps.
It is planned that this innovation will save 64.6MWh of energy in one year and will reduce electricity consumption by more than 50%. At the same time, longer service life of lighting equipment is anticipated.
The decision to invest in energy efficiency is important not only for the economic benefits to business, but also for the environmental factor, i.e. this will reduce CO2 emissions by more than 23 tons.
