Our first half of 2024 is a record year

During January-June, we handled more than 700,000 tones of various cargoes at the terminal, a 33% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

“Consistent investment in upgrading equipment, increasing storage space, and expanding the range of services in response to the changing needs of our customers have all contributed to our extremely successful cargo performance. While we are hearing many signals from the market about a slow economic recovery, we are also seeing a recovery in demand for roundwood in the Scandinavian markets. “There is also ‘half the word’ about a good grain harvest in 2024, so we hope that the handling volumes will remain at a similar level until the end of the year,” says Julius Kiršis, our CEO.

Key indicators for the 6 months 2024:

  • We handled 250,000 tones of roundwood – 46% more than in the same 6 months of 2023;
  • We handled 450 thousand tones of bulk / sovereign cargo, 27% more than in the same period in 2023;
  • 141 vessels serviced.
