This sort of cargo neither in Malku bay nor in the whole Klaipeda seaport has ever existed – at the beginning of January, 1080 units of cattle from several European countries, including Lithuania, were loaded to the specially designed livestock vessel. Even though the international exporter of livestock addressed JSC Malkų įlankos terminalas just days before arrival of the vessel, team effort between our terminal, local companies, and State Food and Veterinary Service resulted in the successful execution of the task. We hope that this was not the last cargo of this kind in our terminal.
