The first harvest of grain is loaded onto a ship

"This year's adverse weather conditions delayed the start of the grain harvest, but we are nevertheless pleased to have finished loading the first ship of the season a week earlier than usual. We loaded the first vessel with 44,000 tonnes of wheat for our long-standing customer Scandagra Lietuva," says Julius Kiršis, our terminal director, about the start of the grain season.
The bulk carrier Adam Shulte was loaded at berth 142 of our terminal to take the wheat to the Africa coast. We have new warehouses, state-of-the-art handling equipment, and a full range of bulk services at the terminal, from warehousing, packing and unrestricted loading to/from Panamax vessels.
