We are implementing a project at our terminal that will help reduce emissions from economic activities. The project is being implemented under a progress measure approved by the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Lithuania and financed under a contract with the Environmental Project Management Agency (EPA).
We are participating in the impact of the development programme progress measure No. 02-001-06-11-01 “Strengthening prevention and management of negative environmental impacts” under the impact measure “Introduction of technological equipment and measures to reduce emissions of pollutants into the ambient air from economic activities”, approved by the Order of the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Lithuania No. D1-227 of 12 July 2022 (wording of the Order of the Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Lithuania No. D1-297 of 9 September 2024).
As part of the implementation of this project, our company is implementing the financing agreement No AARP-23(2025) signed on 10 February 2025 with the Environmental Project Management Agency (EPA). The aim of the project is to install a dust separation system to reduce the amount of particulate matter emitted into the ambient air during the economic activity (grain drying process) and to reduce the amount of particulate matter emitted outside the operational area in Klaipėda.
The main activity of the project is the installation of a modern dust separation system at the existing grain drying plant, which will significantly contribute to the reduction of pollution.
The project has received a non-reimbursable targeted grant of EUR 288 000.00.
