The first quarter of the year marks another strong milestone in the history of our operations and sustainability.
Following a successful investment in 2024, implemented together with our partner “Heidelberg Materials Lietuva”, 12 new cement tank containers arrived at our terminal.
“Last year’s decision has more than paid off – it has ensured more efficient delivery, reduced environmental impact, and further strengthened our long-term partnership. It is therefore only natural that sustainable development continues,” says Julius Kiršis, CEO of our terminal.
According to J. Kiršis, sustainability in logistics starts with solutions that work in practice. The additional investment shows that the chosen model is not only environmentally friendly but also economically sound.
The additional containers will further strengthen the uninterrupted supply of cement to the intermodal terminals in Kaunas and Vilnius and contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions. From now on, 28 tank containers will be used.
Sustainable solutions are no longer a vision for the future, but the standard for today’s operations.
