MIT has new TEREX - Fuchs handling equipment

The first one new loader has already been delivered to MIT.

Last year, timber handling volumes in MIT grew by 99% compared to 2017 and reached 370,000 m3. Looking at the paper industry market trends, it is planned that timber handling volumes in 2019 will remain at the same level as in 2018.

Cargo growth has prompted MIT  to invest in upgrading cargo handling equipment. The company acquired two new hydraulic manipulators TEREX FUCHS MHL350. One of them is already successfully carrying out handling operations, and the second one will reach MIT at the end of April.

In 2018, MIT reloaded ~ 70 percent of all round timber cargo handled in Klaipeda port
